Happy New Year and Decade!
During the last few months of 2019, we put a notice on our website about raising our prices in 2020, and we have now adjusted our rates. We’re committed to bringing you value at reasonable prices. It has been, though, seven years since the Essay Rockstar program began, and we hadn’t raised our prices once until now.
From the start, our goal remains unchanged: to give your kids the writing skills and confidence they need to tackle college level writing easily.
Yes, Essay Rockstar has a strong curriculum that prepares kids for college writing.
BUT, we’re unique in very important way.
We feel that if we’re going to teach something right, it’s important to take responsibility for the entire teaching process. A strong curriculum is only one part of that process.
Our professional teachers work with students one on one. We give kids individualized feedback until they demonstrate that they know and are able to do what’s expected of them…
...No matter how long it takes.
Our no deadlines, self-paced teaching model uses a mastery learning approach. Essay Rockstar students aren’t allowed to move forward to the next step in our writing process until they demonstrate a mastery of the prior step. Our teachers work with kids until they do so.
Students are only allowed to move forward to the next lesson in Essay Rockstar with their teacher’s approval. Otherwise, they stay where they are and work with their teacher until they get it right.
We’re serious about personal attention.

Parents, you can pass off essay writing instruction to our professional teachers. Kids answer to us, not you, when they’re taking Essay Rockstar.

What’s new with Essay Rockstar?
In the latest release of our platform, we installed a new portal that allows parents to view every piece of our teaching process -- all curricular and resource materials, communications between our teachers and your children, what work they’ve completed, and what progress they’ve made.
It can be unnerving to put your child into the care of an adult you don’t know.
We’re parents too, and we get it.
Through the parent portal, you can get to know your kids’ Essay Rockstar teacher as well as your kids do, and you can learn the Essay Rockstar curriculum too. You can use it for yourself or teach it to another one of your children.
This allows one Essay Rock Star purchase to benefit the whole family.
In fact, we’ve decided to give students and parents permanent access to their accounts. This includes Essay Rockstar lessons, worksheets, and resource articles and corresponding audio and video recordings, even after they finish the program.
Past students who want a quick refresher on writing skills and strategies can simply log in to their Essay Rockstar account to get the information they need.
